HOW WE CHECK INFORMATION
What is known
about each brand?
The directory helps readers find the company behind a label. Each brand is searched individually, its identity is checked, and the limits of the available evidence are stated.
A company and a factory are different facts
The trademark holder, brand operator, supplier and manufacturer may be different organisations. A company address or country of incorporation does not establish where a particular can was made. Check its label, technical data sheet (TDS) and safety data sheet (SDS).
Reading the records
Sources available means publications about the brand, its products or its company relationship have been found. Every link states the narrow claim it supports. A historical document is not treated as a current trademark-register extract.
Further research needed means that the exact company or manufacturer remains uncertain, or multiple unrelated brands share the name. Search findings are described rather than promoted into unsupported manufacturer fields.
Our sources
We prioritise official company publications, technical documents and announcements of completed corporate transactions. Retailer material is identified as such: it may show a product is sold, but does not necessarily establish trademark ownership or a factory.
Shortened links are replaced with direct URLs. International official resources are used where available; some local brands are documented only in local-language publications, with English summaries of the findings. A working HTTP link does not itself verify the page's claims.
Images
We show packaging, labels and products. New images link to their source pages; retailer images are labelled in captions. A photograph does not establish current ownership or the manufacturing country of an entire range. If a reliably identified image cannot be found, a different brand is not substituted.
Product quality
Private labelling is a business model, not a quality rating. Assess technical documentation, suitability for the task, storage and application conditions. Products under one brand may come from different factories.
Russian listings and source roles
New records separately identify the company and a Russian retailer listing. Prices, stock and order status are observations of the page on the check date; they do not establish authorised import or the authenticity of a particular batch. Made-to-order offers are identified explicitly.
Register records, company publications, retailer pages, specialist articles and community experience serve different purposes. A directory summary of a register is distinguished from the primary register. A user review is not a company-title document or an independent assessment of an entire brand.
